Paultons Park advice

We're in Paultons Park area next week so thinking about booking for the day. Can someone explain the split of peppa pig world and the rest of the park please? Our kids are 8 and 5, plus 7m baby.
Does a ticket get you access to both parts? With the older child, I'm thinking we might skip peppa world, but 5 year old would love it! We definitely only have 1 day to spare... (a Saturday, so will probably be rammed!). Thanks

Peppa Pig World is just a part of Paultons. All covered by one ticket.

Ellemeg82 · 21/08/2023 18:12

The Peppa pig world is just a section of paultons park. So yes 1 ticket gets you entry to both. Paultons park is lovely. Nice gardens and some animals there too as well as the rides. I thought it was a nice laid out park and my 6yr old loved it. He wasn't so bothered about the Peppa area although we did go on some Peppa rides. He loved the other rides. We went on a weekday and it was quieter.
Doing it all in a day is tough though as lots to do! Have fun.

As pp says, it's all one place covered under one ticket.
Yours are a fab age to enjoy it all.

It's all part of the same park and a relatively small area of it.
My advice would be to go there after 3pm as most families with little ones are heading home at that time and the queues are much shorter.
Also avoid the helicopter ride. It takes ages to get on and is rubbish.

It’s lovely. Some Animals, nice gardens and very clean. One of you head to PP world with the youngest and baby but be prepared for lots of queues.
other parent go to rest of paultons park then meet for a picnic (unless you want to keep together, it’s just PP world gets busy).
Dont forget to take swimming costumes and a towel as there are splash parks, one main one and a smaller one in PP world. Also play areas there.

Yes it’s good, and they’ve got a splash park too so bring swimmers and towels if it’s sunny. I didn’t realise that when we went, so couldn’t go in. Enjoy!

Peppa Pig World is at the far end of the park from where you come in, if that helps. We split when we went last year and one of us took DC1 (almost 7) on the Paultons rides while the other took DC2 (2.5) round Peppa Pig World. The latter also has a massive soft play which is useful (albeit busy) if it’s wet.

We found it a great day out - arrived at 1000 and left at 1700. Could have stayed longer!

All park of same price and really good fun, I'd recommend downloading a site map in advance they have the height restrictions and all rides/zones in the park. There are things like driving school, splash parks, loads of parks, then rides, and my 3 year old found a few water rides and roller coasters he was tall enough to go on with us. A good mix!

TeenDivided · 21/08/2023 18:27

fyi There's a MacDonalds about ?5? minutes drive from the park just off the M27 north of Junction 2. If you haven't filled up on fresh donuts in the park of course.

Scottishgirl85 · 21/08/2023 18:29

So helpful thank you! I'm already thinking 1 day won't be enough and we'll struggle to keep everyone happy, as we'd rather all stick together... Might need a battle plan! Any other advice of rides to aim for or avoid would be very welcome please!

We love Paulton’s Park! Ours and 6 and 4 and we didn’t even bother with Peppa Pig World last time. The majority of the rides are one metre + so both kids could go on loads of the rides. As so many go for PP world, we found hardly any queues for the other rides - I’ve been on Saturday and Sunday before. You’ll have a great day! Kids favourite was the cat-o pillar coaster and the flight of the Pterosaur (4 year old couldn’t do that one).
Theres an app that shows wait times which is handy.

TeenDivided · 21/08/2023 18:35

There's a gentle rollercoaster in the dinosaur bit should be OK for your 5yo, and a figure of 8 egg/rock thing which is fun. And a ride where your feet hang also there which is a bit more exciting. (They were new a few years back so I assume they are still there.)

Honestly, it's all good. Smile

cocksstrideintheevening · 21/08/2023 19:13

It's a while since we've been but it was great. Dts were 3 and there were a few things they could go on in the main part as well as PP world. We went in October so no splash park but still spent the full day there
