i keep mine separate. No idea why.

I also keep both sets in the bedroom when I go to sleep.

Together. To me it means I cannot lose both.

House and car together on the car key keyring and house keys on the other keyring along with other keys needed around the house.

Together. Can't be arsed with more things to remember than needed. We have two keys for each of our cars and each has a house key on the ring too, so you can just grab a set and know you've got what you need.

When we lived places where we drive everyday- together. You are more likely to lose two small keys that are separate than a key ring with multiple keys.

But now we live in London and only use the car on weekends, the car keys are kept separate because why carry them all over London 5 days a week when they won't be used.

Together, but we have a lock box just outside the front door with a house key in it... a leftover from when the kids were teens and forever losing house keys, and it makes it easier for my dog walker not to have to carry yet another key !

Mine are on a large caribiner which I hook onto my belt/jeans when I'm out with the dog so quite hard to lose!

Also we only need one key for front door and that on its own would get lost in the house or in a coat or bag repeatedly. We need a bit of bulk on our keys so they don't randomly vanish! We did have a singular house key once but god knows where it's gone.

Together. But they are clipped together so I can separate easily if I need to. Picuture is of a heavy metal type, mine was plastic for clipping dummy to toddler but it's this style. Always have a spare key by back/front doors in case of fire in the night.

Together.

BUT....I have a fancy keyring that separates into two - house keys on one section, car keys on the other. We are always swapping vehicles between DH, DD1 and myself, and this means I can give someone my car keys while still keeping my house/office keys. But when I'm in my own car, the whole bunch is kept together, and I know I have everything I need.

Used to be together but the newer car has a key card that won't fit on my key ring Angry Now I can't keep track of any of them! I usually have a spare door key in the car and another in the back pocket of my bag, even though the front door doesn't lock itself. I have a spare door key in 'my' car after DH had to climb in through a window after dropping me off somewhere. He has aSo been known to leave the house - in the car that lives on the drive - with both garage keys in his pocket Shock

The moral of the tale is that the keys belong together or chaos ensues!

We rarely leave home without a car though - no walkable shops and no public transport.

Together all on same key ring, alway have.

My sister has hers separate and a number of times she’s had to drive to my house (not far from hers) because she hasn’t got her house key and her husband has gone out!
