Anyone used an app to help with procrastination?

I procrastinate so much. I hate it. Zero motivation. Zero energy. Blood tests all normal.

On my FB feed, an app called Today is the Day keeps popping up. It's like £60 for three months.

Anyone defeated procrastination or is an app a good method?

You don't need an expensive app! There is lots of free stuff online!

Paul McKenna is fantastic -

It's easy to mistake lack of motivation for laziness. But I have very rarely worked with a person who is actually lazy.
Most of the so-called 'lazy' people I meet are in fact suffering from procrastination, and procrastinators are usually just frightened to make the wrong choice. What they don't realise is 'doing nothing' is technically a choice in itself.
This simple six-step technique will help you switch off procrastination and switch on motivation.
Read through the exercise carefully before doing it for the first time . . .
*
1* Think of something you would love to be really motivated to do.
2 Remember a time when you felt really, really motivated in the past — when you took positive action and made a difference in your life.
Fully return to it — see what you saw, hear what you heard and feel how good you felt. If you can't remember such a time, what happens when you think of how much better your life would be if you were motivated to take action now?
Imagine how great you would feel if you had all the confidence, power, tenacity and determination you could ever need.
3 As you keep going through this memory, make the colours brighter, the sounds richer and the feelings stronger. Tell yourself to 'Go for it!' in your most confident inner voice.
4 While you are experiencing these good feelings, squeeze the thumb and middle finger of your left hand together. From now on, each time you squeeze these fingers together, you will begin to relive these good feelings.

5 REPEAT the first four steps a few times, adding new motivational experiences each time, until just squeezing your thumb and finger together brings the good feelings back and you're raring to go.
6 Still holding your thumb and finger together, return to the situation about which you want to feel more motivated.
Imagine things going just the way you want. See what you'll see, hear what you'll hear and feel how good it feels to get into action and make things happen.
Just by completing this exercise, you have set in motion the power of momentum in your life.
Whatever you set your mind to do will be easier to achieve than ever before, as you have now put yourself in charge of your own motivation.

Yes don’t waste money on an app (it’s just procrastinating..)

Start with a tiny change and build from there. You can do one small thing with no energy. And only amateurs wait for motivating as the saying goes

There’s no magic bullet, you have to chip away at it

Be kind to yourself, but firm. Baby steps.
