If you could run any kind of shop/cafe, what would you choose?

A quirky little shop unit is up for rental in a nearby street. It’s been a sort of general store for decades, although with a lot of local competition I’m not sure how it continued. Anyway, they’re retiring and I’m daydreaming of playing shops 😂Practicality aside, what would you choose if you had completely free rein?

A launderette where you could take your washing in and have coffee/beer/wine while you wait for your beautifully folded bag of laundry to be returned to you

I would come to your laundrette for a drink!
get my laundry done while getting merry. Ace 😂

If you're going to serve hot drinks, can you please invest in tetley tags (I'd even accept PG tips). I'm fed up with only being offered breakfast tea!! The only places to get decent tea seems to be McDonalds and the like.

Only loose leaf tea will be allowed in my imaginary yarn/stationery shop / café! Plenty of types though, not just English Breakfast blend!

If I had to.... Champagne and seafood bar. No
Actual cooking required. 😂

Doesn't sound like the right sport for
It though. Worth bearing in mind that many small businesses now make most of their money online and the shop is a "window".
Best of luck with your business if you go ahead.

A pet shop with cages/tanks/equipment suitable for the animals, not the normal tiny plastic stuff you buy in standard pet shops which a lot of it is completely unsuitable and cruel.
Or a swap/recycle shop bring an item in you don't need or ick up one you do, no charge and stops it going to waste. Membership only so any traders wouldn't profit or take away things people need.
Furniture/sport stuff/bric a brac-not really sellable but still good stuff and useable
