What do you think kids/teens will want for Christmas this year?

Please dont come for me, I know this is ridiculously, ridiculously early. I'm usually a last minute panic buyer.

I need to buy gifts for my nieces and nephews of various ages from baby to late teen. Girls and boys.

I'll be working away (somewhere remote) from the start of September to mid/late December. I want to have everything bought, wrapped and ready as I'll (hopefully) be back for Christmas. If not someone else can gift them for me.

Maybe go for safe options like branded hoodies for the teens and classic toys like Lego for the younger kids rather than worry about "trendy" toys that will be in high demand.
I have teens and they enjoy vouchers and cash even though some adults see it as impersonal. That way they can buy exactly what they want during the year and not be pressured to come up with something they need.

Ye gods!

There's a Christmas topic!

Depends how much you plan to spend - Game/ codes for whichever console they have, ear buds, power bank, aftershave/ perfume - Dior sauvage or paco rabanne phantom for teen boys, miss Dior for teen girls, cinema voucher , voucher for their favourite clothes shop, fitness tracker, pandora jewellery, makeup. No idea for younger ones.

Thanks so much - this has been so helpful!

I'll naturally spend less on the LOs but I have been avoiding giving money so far. I just don't get to see them often at the moment due to work and I feel a little out of touch with what's popular.

Also, I didn't even know there was a Christmas topic. Definitely shows my lack of Christmas prep skills 😂

Pop over to the Christmas forum for ideas.

I have a primary-age DC and over the years he has enjoyed:

Lego
Playmobil
Games like Star Wars Monopoly, Qwirkle, Exploding Kittens, 5-Second Rule, Jenga, Twister etc
Orchard Toys puzzles and games (more for under 5yo)
Sensory balls set (for babies)
Train sets
Meccano-type kits
Action figures from Marvel/DC Comics/SW
Cars / trucks / other vehicles
Books/ sticker books
Top Trumps
Kinetic Sand
Switch games
SwingBall

I'm going to have a look now 😁

I love the idea of swingball or something a little more active. Thankyou so much

My 17yo has told me to ask relatives who ask, for Netflix and Spotify vouchers as she is off to uni, if you've anyone that age.

There is a Christmas topic for all you ridiculously early types.

Pop up, touch books etc for the little ones (check with parents if they have them). 5 year old friends son loves dinosaurs so I'll get something like that.
literally no idea for my lot though 😂 cooking books for my nine year old maybe, a geography encylopedia, Crystal set. 11year old has written a specific bday list of drawing stuff and second hand dvds and pop figures. Playdoh for five year old.

Packageholiday · 18/08/2023 05:11

Money money money for older.
Most already havr hoodie etc and they've are big things to wash and store... Or as pp said a netfkix or Spotify but money is always so appreciated
