Every so often I'm a millionaire for 15 seconds or so

In the time between me seeing the 'News about your ticket' email from the lottery to me opening the app and seeing I've won £2.50 I'm rich, I'm planning my house, I'm thinking about what cars I'll buy my sons, a custom made 9 ft cat tree, a holiday home, maybe one of those mini ridable steam trains to go round my vast property if I ever have grandkids 😂

Money being tight is fine but it’s different when you don’t earn enough to even be able to rent a place. I could probably increase my hours but unless I give up my studies, I don’t earn enough to live independently. If I keep up my studies, I will be able to double my income in two years and then do freelance work in my field too. It’s a long game but I will get there.

Ahh yes I did similar and had to know that I had learnt to drive etc before I could get out. It's tough but sometimes it's the best way

I don’t even play the bloomin lottery regularly but I have always spent whatever the jackpot is for that week (or at least some of it!) in my head 🤣

I day dream of winning the lottery too, it's stress relief imagining all these things I no longer have to face. Money will definitely change my life for better.

I often wake up in the night, I see I have won something and then I can't log on as they are doing maintenence!!! I've still only won about £2/3!!

I wonder if it was better if the email said ‘you have won under £20 please check your account for details’ or is worth the crushing disappointment just to have those few moments of hope!!?
