Where to 're-home' Lego?

DS is 17 and has definitely moved on from his Lego 'stage'. We have a couple of unopened boxes of Lego Architecture that will probably sell on Ebay / Facebook.
We also have a large shoebox full of mini-figures and a cardboard box (think microwave delivery box sized) of random Lego you know, the pieces that mainly came from sets where I should have kept the boxes and instructions rather than just tossing it all in together...
Anybody got any idea what I can do with it? I'd especially welcome ideas that involve receiving money for it that could go into DS's college fund, but realise this might be a bit of a vain hope.

I’ve sold a couple of boxes of random Lego on Facebook marketplace. Between £10 and £20 for a shoebox full.
one box got loads of enquiries because there was a desirable minifigure in there!

I'm a primary school teacher and we'd be delighted with a donation of Lego!

It is a good holiday job to get a teenager to go through any of the instructions that you have and see if the sets can be built, then you can bag that specific set.

The remainder sell by weight or donate it.
