Going on holiday next month with DS (2), and DHs Niece (6) and Nephew (5), wanted to make sure that there isn't anything I haven't thought of to take with us... so what are your top 5 things to take on holiday abroad with young children (not including the obvious like clothes, swimsuits, passports etc...)?

Cheap paintbrush set from B&Q. They will spend hours painting with water onto the ground/decking/side of a plant pot. Etc

It is seriously the best tip I ever got to entertain a toddler. Whiled away hours!

Pop up laundry basket
Cheap easily identifiable hats that you don't mind getting wet (water safety + sun protection!)
Activity books and full set of felt tips
Portable laundry line x2
Plastic tea set including sufficient teapots for all the children. +1. For an easy life.
Plasters, nail scissors + clippers, calpol, bite cream, eczema cream (especially if no-one suffers from eczema.... not having eczema cream is the no1 cause worldwide of eczema).

My 2 must haves regardless of where I’m going or with/without children is a pop up laundry basket from the pound shop or wilkos and a multi-way extension

Oh and trampoline socks can make a decent cheap alternative to pool shoes
