How long has anyone waited on housing list ?

I registered with a housing association In 2017 so 6 years ago now.
Im currently in a 1 bed flat -luckily it's not in a block or anything -it's a converted large house so comes with a drive /back and front garden.
The flat itself is quite big but obviously has 1 bedroom.
My daughter is 6 months now so not ideal forever.
Im bidding on properties and finishing 15/256
10/269 etc etc
I've had two viewings but didn't get the houses as the people in front have snapped them up.
How long has everyone waited?
If someone comes along in band 1 they get the house.

I was on it short of 11 years before being housed.

We.were stuck in silver for 10 years, then fought tooth and nail to be placed in Gold. A lot of letters from GP, school, therapist etc and they put us in Gold and 11 months later was offered a brand new build.

Been here 3 years and life has never been so good, and I'm 47.
