I've had this horrible issue for about 10 years now, since early 40's. Its gotten so much worse the last 3 years so much so there's no point in styling my hair as I just sweat profusely and look like I've just walked out with wet hair. It's really getting me down now, the sweat runs off my head down my forehead, sides if my face and my neck from behind my ears.
I was hoping someone had been brave enough to try botox on their scalp and say its amazing and yep go and get it.
Attached are 2 pics from today, I was sweating before i left the house and was dripping during and at the end of my walk .

Are you generally healthy? I have found since putting on weight so now I'm over weight I definitely sweat more through my head.

I do have chronic illnesses, I did think it was maybe one of my meds but I'm off that now.

This happens to me, totally messes my hair up and feels horrid. I didn't know Botox could help. I don't think it's to do with weight or medication, well its not for me anyway as it has always happened since I was a teen. Also, I'm not on any medication and have no underlying illnesses. I think people just sweat in different places maybe. The botox is interesting though so I'll keep watching this post incase anyone else has done it.

I've had a wee Google and it seems to be quite common, the only downside is that it only lasts about 6 months. I've tried tablets but they didn't suit me, I had no saliva. Eating a sandwich was like chewing a sandy flip flop 😅😅
They did work but I couldn't use them every day. They also stop you urinating so when they wear off you are piddling non stop.
It's horrible isn't it. I have a neck fan it helps a little.

Not sure how useful this will be as my botox was on underarms, and not for excess sweat ...

I'd say "nippy" rather than "sore" on the whole but much sorer on scarred areas (which is apparently to be expected). It was lots & lots of pin pricks just going millimetres deep, but definitely brought a few tears to my eyes. My surgeon said not everyone will see the same benefit, that I could see any benefit last anything 3 - 12 months. Whether I felt that was "worth it" for paying for it myself next time would be a very personal choice.

Hope you find something that works for you!

Thank you @armsandlegs that's very helpful. It would make such a huge difference to me if it worked and lasted. I'll research some clinics and check out reviews and costs.
