Any cricket fans? Stuart Broad is retiring.

After this Ashes series. I genuinely had a knot in my stomach as I read it. He and Jimmy as a pair have been central to England's performances for so long.

Who's going to replace him?

(I just want to sit in a corner and whimper 'now what are we going to do?')

I went to look round a school for my 7 year old. A guy in games kit was talking to some children and I thought that the PE teacher was rather good looking. We joined the school. I never saw the “teacher” again and it took me a few months to realise that the guy was Stuart Broad who had come in to give a chat to some children as his mum was a teacher in the school.

Jimmy is going to cut a lonely figure out there at the next test. They’ve come as a package for so long. It is the end of an era.

TMS is pretty good though. We've had Sky on all day, a bit of TMS and now watching the BBC highlights

If you had seen the blood soaking through Stuart’s socks after a long day bowling on rock-hard pitches, you would understand what a stupid & ignorant statement that is. Fast bowling is hard work. Ask anyone who has done it, and whose body has suffered the consequences.
