Myself & ds (aged 21) will be in London for the last weekend in august. We're thinking of going to the science museum. Is this something that's worthwhile doing? Ds would also like to see Big Ben etc.
we are staying near Finsbury Park station (going to an arsenal match on the Saturday).
Any advice? Thanks in advance.

There will be lots of young kids in the Science Museum yes but they’ll mainly be interested in a few specific exhibits - Wonderlab, the Garden, Pattern Pod. Which a 21 year old probably wouldn’t go for anyway. So I wouldn’t rule it out.

If going to Big Ben you could also cross the river and pop into the Tate Modern, or take a riverboat from Westminster all the way up to Tower Bridge and spot various sights on the way.

Oh thank you @minipie

Great advice. We're coming from Ireland & haven't been to London too many times. I adore London though. Can't wait to go back.
First time I went I was with friends & we did a boat tour to Greenwich. Best tour guide ever on that boat!

Londoner here. Just had a visitor from abroad and we went on a guided tour at Shakespeare's globe. Got to see a rehearsal for Macbeth and learned lots about the history of the globe. Can really recommend. Can also recommend a London walk, Westminster by Gaslight is great!

Oh that's a brilliant idea too. Especially since ds is hoping to become an actor. He's just been accepted into a course in Dublin that's very hard to get into (same course Barry Keoghan did) so he'd love the Shakespeare tour.
