You don't usually see one on its own, it's weird that there's an entire article about that specific kind of that particular bit and in singular.

I think most wiki articles about those general sorts of things tend to use the singular for the title. Seems to me like a more important topic than many of the esoteric ones we've seen!

I just felt a bit peculiar at the thought of one loose on its own.

"Human arm" redirects to arm. Very few body parts are preceded by human on Wikipedia. Brain, eye, nose, mouth, teeth, penis are the ones I remember.
