What to pack for Netherlands "Centre parks"

Going to Amsterdam and then a landal (centre parks type) wooden cabin/ lots of kids activities this week. I figure I need some nice clothes for evening (there are some posher restaurants on site). I've also packed cycle shorts and some sports clothes plus swim gear. Then UK type summer clothes.

Weather report looks similar to UK, bit hotter maybe 20' And lots of rain.

I'm not very sure what footwear to pack.

I've currently got
Waterproof walking trainers
New balance suede fashion trainers
Comfy walking sandals
Some nice sandals for meals out
Flip flops
Water shoes (for by the lake)
My teva type sandals as they are pretty and lightweight.

I'm going to need a case for shoes!!

I've really packed for all eventualities with clothes. We have the weight in checked luggage but dont want to overpack.

Anyone got any experience of these types of holiday and what I'd need,?

Never been but have been to center parcs. On that experience I’d say not to worry about ‘dressing up’ for dinner.
in CP, people are often going into restaurants straight from whatever activities they've done that day.

yes plenty went home, showered and changed too but we’re still pretty casual IMO.

if it’s going to rain a lot, I’d not bother with the suede trainers.
you also don’t need multiple similar sounding shoes. Just take one pair of comfy trainers that you can walk a lot in. One pair of lightweight sandals you can walk in for when it’s warm and sunny and a pair you can get wet. Personally I’d just take the flipflops so you can use them around the pool.

I think you are packing too many sandals! Either take water shoes or flip flops but you don’t need both. Also you don’t need walking sandals AND Teva’s - just pack one of these if you know you will wear them.

Been to lots of different Landal parks across Europe and the restaurants are definitely not posh or smart - just normal family friendly places. No need to pack special clothes to eat out unless you want to. Netherlands very laid back and relaxed - so unless you are going to high end restaurants in a city just take clothes that you feel happy eating in a nice pub type restaurant.

Netherland windy by the coast but weather pretty much like the UK in summer - 4 seasons in one day kind of thing! Pack good lightweight fleeces/waterproofs - once you get the cycling bug (joy to cycle in Netherlands compared to the uk) you want light layers.

Thanks this is really useful. I'm just packing some nice dresses and jumpsuits as it's not much of a holiday if I can't look nice. Not actually getting dressed up!

Still in a trainer dilemma. I wish I was the kind of person to take minimal stuff.
