Robot Vacs

With it being Prime Day, I’m hoping to invest in a robot vacuum. Several people have said that the Eufy ones are great but, having had a look, there are loads to choose from!

We have all hard floors downstairs but carpet upstairs. It would mainly be used downstairs so would the mopping feature be useful or is it not very good?

Any advice would be most welcome!

I have all hard floors downstairs and I think the mopping feature is useful but not amazing. Things you should know -
It can't empty itself into the tower thing with the mopping module on, so you have to pop it off and on again if you want it to operate on a schedule.
You don't put cleaning fluid in/on, so it is essentially just wetting a cloth and going over the floor, however I would say on max it does a decent job (sometimes I spot spray bits of the floor lightly before it goes over).
There are places it can't get to that get dusty but overall I am very pleased with it and would replace in a heartbeat.
As a vacuum it's pretty independent and I have it set to go daily, then I just stick the mop on when I want to.
Sending it just to do the kitchen daily with the mop on is keeping it much nicer and saves sweeping and wiping the floor.
They give you two sets of the brushes and mop pad so it's easy to swap them and then clean the spare set.
It can't cope with the bases of our bar stools so I have to move them out of the way or it gets stuck. It gets stuck in one other threshold area too so I tend to do that room separately.

Mine is the Eufy 30c. £140 today.

It's fine. Mine is set to trundle around every day. Does what it says on the tin.

I have been wondering this myself recently, if they're any good - I work full time, very long, hard shifts and have some back issues and can find regular vacuuming quite hard going on it at times and rather painful.

I know it won't replace using a proper hoover but if a robot one at least helps me keep on top of things when I feel I can't use it, then I see that as a good thing.

I have just bought one on Amazon for £163 (the Laresar Evol 3) that is rated 4.8 out of 5 stars. I've got a mix of carpet and laminate flooring in my flat, so it'll be interesting to see how it gets on. Mine isn't arriving until after prime day is over though so it might be a bit late to let you know how it gets on...

Thank you for the responses. I think you’ve all persuaded me to get one!

@Parisj which model have you got?
