We've dead birds all over our area again n Wales No notification from DEFRA or in the media it's radio silence officially. Have the government decided it's unstoppable and they're hoping that it won't mutate?

FB groups are reporting large numbers but no-one else.

Anywhere else have dead birds?

It's been bad round here too. We're in Dorset, near the Chesil Bank, and have found dead birds on our walks. Also noticed a drop in numbers of nesting gulls this year in our village.

I'm sitting on a beach on the east coast of Scotland. My son just pointed out we're surrounded by dead birds, I never noticed when I sat down....
A local animal rescue charity have said they're stopping taking in any birds as they can't risk getting closed down if they rescue any birds with avian flu. But I've not heard anything about it in the media recently.

I'm in Essex and it's rife here in my local park.

The RSPCA turned up a few days ago and confirmed it. We've lost a massive amount of geese in particular.

I haven't read about it anywhere else though until this thread.

Where we live it started at the same time as Covid, there have been multiple outbreaks over the last few years, and now the only garden birds we have are sparrows. I think they are spreading it to the other birds.

I do outdoor watersports in Eastern England: we still get (official source) notice in our facebook groups to not touch any dead birds we see.

That's all we're getting local walkers reporting. OH found two gulls walking the dog. It's being posted on FB groups. Don't know if they've decided that it's nothing to worry about or there's nothing they can do. Birds migration is something that cannot be stopped. It's so sad

It's not really stopped after the last warning
