EasyJet-need to cancel one person’s flight, what do I do?

The website options are so complicated and won’t seem to let me just speak to someone! We are a big party going away to a villa and one person can no longer go-but it’s not due to a bereavement (which is their only option!).

I presume we can’t just cancel and get a refund/voucher? I can’t even find a way to cancel at all! Do we just turn up on the day and say they won’t be on the flight?

Can anyone advise what I should do?

Easyjet don't do refunds as far as I'm aware, their flights are non refundable.

You can just turn up without the passenger if you can't get hold of a human to let them know.

Is there a live chat?

If person doesn't check in, airline won't care. I doubt there will be any refund, but they may allow a change of flight to another time - with a fee of course. But not sure.

I can’t find an option to do a live chat which is annoying. I presume we wouldn’t be able to transfer it to a voucher and then use it for a holiday next year as the flights haven’t been released yet for next summer

You won't get a refund of any kind op 😂 what planet are you on?

Has the person simply changed their mind? If there's a reason other than bereavement like illness then their travel insurance may cover it.

People don't turn up for flights all the time, it will be fine. They won't check in and that will be the end of it.

Don't check them in & turn up without them.

I have got a refund from EasyJet in the past when I was unwell. I had a doctor's letter saying I was unfit to travel which I emailed to them & a couple of weeks later, they refunded the whole amount, minus a handling charge, onto my card.
Bit of a relief not to go through my insurance as it's astronomically expensive without a claim!
