Oh god, moldy grape

I gave my girl a portion of grapes. She asked me why do they taste of dirt. I gave them a rinse under the tap. I went back for another portion to realise there was some grapes moldy. I never realised.

Is this going to make her sick? I am riddled with so much guilt and I hate myself for it.

Did anyone here eat anything moldy by accident and came through it without being sick?

She’ll be fine, she won’t be sick from eating a few mouldy grapes.

She'll be fine!

I'm an emetophobe and earring mouldy fruit/veg wouldn't bother me. She will be absolutely fine.

If the mould is grey and a bit hairy and the grape is a bit shrivelled it is likely botrytis. That’s the mould that sweet wines are made of. You can eat it and it’s ok (or even berry nice).

If it’s black and a bit like soot, I wouldn’t eat it.

When I looked at the grapes it was grey. I tossed the rest of them.
