My son has a physical ticket - a paper one - with his now ex-girlfriend's name on the stub. It's from Ticketmaster for a gig this weekend.
Anyone know if he could sell this on Twickets - even though it's not his name on the stub? She paid for it (he transferred her the cash so it is his by rights) which is why her name is on there, I don't believe it's classed as a personalised ticket - thanks so much. He's trying to avoid contacting her at all costs... and there's no phone number he can call for ticketmaster, twickets or the venue!!

Yes but if its just a physical ticket needs to be enough time to send it to the buyer. Was it bought on her ticketmaster account or his?

Thanks for replying - it was on her account, hence in her name I believe. We really don't want to contact her to ask her to transfer it as things have ended very unpleasantly (her not him)... but I don't really want him to be out of pocket, which is why I'm trying to help him 😊 She brought the ticket round to ours this morning, he wasn't expecting it.
It's a sold out gig so if he listed it tonight we should have time to send special delivery (the gig is Sunday)

It's worth listing, the other option would be to advertise somewhere like Facebook and see if anyone locally can buy and collect. Worth checking the terms for the event as some differ, but most they just scan the ticket so name doesn't matter. If its sold out deffo worth a go! I've sold and bought on twickets many times.

OK great thanks. I've emailed the venue and promoter to ask if they check ID against a ticket (I'm sure they wouldn't...) but don't fancy my chances getting a reply in time. Will try facebook and Twickets - thanks so much for your help!
