I sold my daughter's old travel system - was a pram / pushchair / car seat combo with loads of accessories. A woman bought it yesterday for her grandchild. She was saying how her son wanted one costing £1200 but she'd told him second hand was fine. She paid £50.
She's now messaged me saying that her son has told her it's too old and doesn't meet current safety standards and I shouldn't have sold it.
For reference, it's 15 years old, used for one child and has been fully serviced. It has a 5 point safety harness, lies flat and has a two stage collapsing mechanism which are the key recommendations from what I can see.
Should I offer to give her the money back?
I don't believe that it can't be used safely, I think her son is angling for a new system.
