I know, it's a first world problem. It's only money/metal. I'm lucky to have a 3 year old car. But I'm so gutted. The clutch has gone and it's only done 13k miles! And there is another problem with it which will be another hundred or so.

While I wait for a second opinion in a few days time, can anyone cheer me up? Feeling like a right misery guts tonight.

Is it a Peugeot?

No it's a VW Polo!

If it's only three years old and has been serviced as it should then the clutch shouldn't be going! If you bought it new I'd be making noises about not fit for purpose, 13k miles, that's appalling and no way should a clutch be failing at that point. That should be Under warranty, there no way they can claim that as wear and tear.

Speak with the manufacturer. Complain if they won't fix for free as it seems it wasn't fit for purpose as it should have lasted a lot longer. Watchdog and trading standards. Keep it up till the cough up.

Unless you've been riding the clutch it shouldn't have gone

Definitely get other quotes.

Im in that profession and id reccomend avoiding main dealer. As that price seems high
