1000 hours outside... Is this even possible with British weather?!

Dc aged 11 & 9... Aiming to do the 1000 hours outside challenge! Is it possible or am I just setting ourselves up to fail?!
Since Monday we've managed 5 hours, have a little printable tracker from the website..

@NuffSaidSam to be fair the dc are outside a lot with extracurriculars, afterschool clubs & just playing out. It's dc & I who just aren't outdoorsy, I thought it would be a nice way to change our lifestyle.
DH has had a little bit of a health scare this month & needs a lifestyle overhaul. I thought this might be a way of ensuring we both get more exercise as my diet & excercise habits are also very poor.
