Theory about trapped wind - bear with me...

I've been having constant tummy ache with windy pain for months, which is usually low level, but sometimes absolutely agonising and had caused massive bloating making me look pregnant. I honestly feel like I've got a fully inflated balloon inside me and just feel weird and big. I've also convinced myself it's a sign of something more dramatic so have recently been for tests after collapsing with the pain a couple of weeks ago. Blood test showed high level of CA125 which was very worrying in terms of possible ovarian cancer and they put me straight through on the two week pathway for more tests. To cut a long story short, I had an ultrasound which showed a cyst, to be further investigated with a CT scan, and also an internal camera thing. The gynaecologist did an internal exam with a speculum and took out a small polyp which had been there a while. Then I went back to the waiting room to wait to be called for a blood test - I immediately felt that all of the bloating and the pain was gone. It was like magic, or like all the rummaging around had released all the trapped wind and my inner balloon was finally popped. My tummy was back to normal size, and I felt so much better, instantly. So my theory is, have a had trapped wind in my vagina rather than my tummy or bowel, and this is what has caused the pain and the other symptoms and now it's gone? Is that possible? The bloating and pain genuinely coincides with the last time I had sex. Has he blown air into me with his enthusiastic action and it's been stuck there for months???!! I cannot believe how quickly I deflated yesterday. Is this a thing???!!!

Ummm a penis doesn't blow air

Glad you feel better though!

P.s you probably feel better as the 'rummaging' may have moved the cyst ever so slightly into a more comfortable position

Yes, I know it's not a bike pump or anything, but the motion does introduce quite a bit of air into you. Or is that just me?! Would I sound mad asking the doc this next time I'm in??!!
