I mean what chance is there? This guy was the chief of the police watchdog! If there are any good ones on the force, they must mired under sooner rather than later. You would have to just leave as your life would probably be at risk if you broke their code of silence!!

A few weeks ago, senior coppers charged with sharing images of child sexual abuse:

There were some coppers in Bournemouth recently who had a calendar with swastikas on it!

I suppose at least some of these vile individuals are at least being brought to justice now. Is this some sort of progress?

Yes. Cesspit is the word.
I was married to a Met cop - the stories of behaviour from his colleagues made me disgusted. The best of it is closer to a frat-house, the worst is criminal.

Then Kent police, who I had dealings with as a victim of domestic violence. Words fail to describe that one. There were some cops with "hurt feelings" and so a personal vendetta against me (just someone who dialled 999!) ensued.
My life was 2 years of hell with their word against mine. I even had a drug-dealing Kent police stalker in that time (the Kent police that harboured Wayne Cousins I shall add)! It took a new team of investigators for me to receive an apology (and my 5yo son's x-box back that was confiscated during a home raid ) after nearly two years... You know the apology - "mistakes were made, blah, blah, blah".

They're psychos, the lot!!

I'm sorry to hear of your experiences.
They're not all psychos though. I worked for the police for ten years in a civilian role and the vast majority were lovely. It's a few bad apples and rightly these cases hit the headlines.
