Does anyone know who is responsible, owner or neighbour for a tree that’s huge above our garden…I can’t reach the branches to cut them off
tree is huge ,way to big for the row of tiny gardens, the branches over our tiny garden are full of dripping sap on to everything and now have a swarm of bees up there ..
is it my responsibility to cut off the branches over my garden,or theirs ..
if it’s mine I will have to pay someone money I’ve not got as the are to high

Their responsibility. If the tree is very tall you won't be able to trim it without making a mess of it.

But do you really want no tree? What type is it?

If it's a large tree have you checked on your local council website to see if it has a TPO (tree preservation order) on it. If so you can't just chop bits off it or you risk a substantial fine.

Ndn. However if it is causing more issues on your side might be worth offering to contribute to cost of pruning, it won't happen now until autumn though, due to nesting birds, if it has a tpo or you live in a conservation area it may need pp.

they won’t care about nesting birds ,2 years ago in April they got a tree surgeon in ,who chopped off the branches with a nest of pigeons eggs in …the parents were flying around for days looking for it ..
this was a registered tree surgeon regularly seen around this area
