Exciting topic klaxon...

I'm trying to find a good quality reading light to attach to my daughter's top bunk bed (she is 8). So far all Google and Amazon keeps throwing up is very cheap lights with iffy reviews from little known brand names based in China.

Can anyone recommend a good quality reading light, which can attach to the side of a bed? I'm so fed up with the offering on Amazon and would like to try and spend my money with independents etc.

Try IKEA , I’m sure I’ve seen ones that clip to things.

Thanks both, I'll take a look. I'm also trying to find independent small brands - but not having much luck.

Fwiw I read with a small light for years after bed and my sight dramatically deteriorated. I stopped doing it as a teen and my sight stopped worsening.

Get a decent light.

I found a neck torch works really well, one light at each end and adjustable

That said, we bought DD9 a kindle paperwhite - it's been a game changer. The one we bought has a back light but yellow-toned background

It's saved hours of DD hiding under under the duvet with a torch!
