Cleaner- how much ph and how many hours?

Thinking about hiring a cleaner once a week.

We live in a small 4 bed terrace but one room isn't used so technically 3 as they'd not go in 4th.

I'd like:

Downstairs -

Kitchen cleaned- surfaces and cupboard fronts
Hoovered and mopped

Living room- hoovered and mopped
Dusting

Downstairs WC- cleaned

Upstairs-

Bedrooms tidied and hoovered
Dusting

Bathroom fully cleaned (shower over bath)

Any laundry to be put on if any.

Would this be done in 3-4 hours do you reckon?

I'm in Hampshire if that even matters. £15ph?

I have no idea! Never hired one so any ideas would be great thank you!

We pay £20 an hour in Kent, but our lovely cleaner brings all her own cleaning stuff, so it seems fair. Previous cleaners were £18 an hour.

We have 4 hours a week for a very large 3 bed with 3 bathrooms.

I’m a cleaner in Hampshire, 2 hours should be enough if they’re brisk. I earn £11.50 an hour via an agency so £15 should be fine if you’re engaging direct.

In fact if you’re in a city beginning with W, I’ll do it 🤣.

3 hours, £16 p/h

Oxfordshire, £14 ph using her own products and hoover, 2 hrs per week for a small 3 bed (usually no laundry to be done but she will hang it out if some is wet).

SW London here. £15/hr for 4 hours. 5 bed end of terrace but one bedroom is a tiny box room which is basically just storage, and one bedroom is the au pairs and she's usually asleep when the cleaner is here 😂 so that room doesn't get done. 2 bathrooms plus downstairs loo. She does everything including the ironing and I love her.

£15 per hour. North East. 3 bed semi.
2 hours per week.
Uses our Hoover and cleaning products.
Never tidies or does laundry- I only want her to actually clean.

Alloveragain3 · 10/06/2023 19:37

2-3 hours
£15 and hour

Cleaners will set their own rates, but as an indication, we pay £15/hour for six hours’ cleaning and ironing/week in Greater London. We provide all cleaning materials.

Amuseaboosh · 10/06/2023 19:55

We pay £70 pw for 6 hours. 3 hours on a Monday and a Friday.

Our cleaner does all the ironing and puts it away.
Changes beds.
Cleans bedrooms.
Vacuums everywhere.
Cleans bathrooms.
Kitchen floor.
And anything else that needs doing. We live in a 5 bed house.

I’m a cleaner and clean a house a similar size.
I’d recommend 4 hours on week one where they do the whole house
then week two would be 2.5-3 hours where they just clean the kitchen, bathrooms, and hoover.

if you want a proper job done thoroughly top to bottom I’d go for 4 hours.

Ibizafun · 16/06/2023 21:17

Greater London 15ph 14 ours a week.

Ibizafun · 16/06/2023 21:19

My cleaner works in half the time of most cleaners as she's so slow, so by that thinking it's probably £30 ph!! 6 bed house but she rotates the rooms
