The satisfaction of doing stuff you've been putting off

I'm so happy I had to share!

I've been avoiding defrosting the freezer for months, this morning I couldn't open it due to the ice build up.

I'm a master at not doing things I should, procrastination is my middle name

I've just finished defrosting it and it's all lovely and ice free now.

Let me know your similar stories of completed tasks, or if you are still avoiding something then feel free to confess here!

I still have to find a fancy dress outfit for something very soon that I have known about for 3 months 😱

I usually work Saturdays (holiday let cleaner) but managed to get them all done in the week, so today i actually managed to clean my own house!!
Best bit was cleaning my own windows for the first time this year... oh the joy of being able to see through them properly!

I'm going to read this again in the morning for some inspiration!

I got both sets of sheets and all the clothes washed and dried yesterday, and the towels this morning! (It’s 9am in Australia.) I use a communal laundry, so getting a washer and a dryer available means going in either very early in the morning or late in the afternoon, and the stress of doing the washing and then going back to find someone who has their own washer has taken over all the dryers in the meantime puts me off doing it. (The clotheslines in our courtyards are too small for clothes, let alone sheets.)

Your post reminded me I need to empty the drip tray in the fridge - thanks, OP! :)
