Cream for very sensitive skin eczema flare up?

Dc3 has a flare up of eczema on his elbow crease. Been itching all night. Usual aveeno / epaderm is making him scream with pain. Any suggestions for cream for very sensitive skin ? He doesn’t usually have a flare up anymore, his skin is usually clear, so it might be triggered by sun cream or heat I’m not sure,

We've been through almost every moisturiser available. It's probably different for everyone, but we find zerobase or diprobase to be the least irritating.
Seem to be stock problems atm so see what is available at whatever pharmacy you can get to.
In warm weather it might be better to use a cream rather than ointment.
Can you get him to a doctor to nip it in the bud?

We’ve found epiderm really useful

Cetraben is the only one that works for me

DS uses Dermol.

Blue Aveeno.or Zerobase for us.

It often does sting the first couple of times if the skin has already been damaged. Even Zerobase stings a bit.

We sometimes use Vaseline. It doesn't add moisture really but forms a bit of a barrier and then apply the cream a bit later. Probably means the cream is less effective, but it seems to get round the stinging issue. (No medical evidence for this method, it's just what let's us get cream onto our ds when he's complaining about stinging)

Maybe a call to the doctor is needed? My DS eczema is generally managed well by aveeno but hand it flares up badly he needs prescribed cream

Thanks for all the suggestions. Ridiculous isn’t it that GP never crossed my mind because of how hard it is these days. I’ll send them a photo on the app and see what’s available in the chemist in the meantime thank you all 🙏

Dermol 500 to wash with , abd the other dermol cremes to put on afterwards

OP, we used Oil of Evening Primrose on my infant son’s eczema which soothed it considerably. Vaseline soothed and healed also.
