How can we get Harry Styles resale tickets without being scammed?

DD was supposed to go to Coventry but she was in hospital so couldn't go, so I've said I'll take her to London on 17 June if we can get tickets. Ticketmaster and Twickets are the official resale sites, but there's no tickets on there - I'm wondering whether they'll appear nearer the time - does anyone have any experience of this?

There are tickets on Viagogo and Stubhub but this is against the terms of the tickets and I'm a bit suspicious (and don't want to support touts, we failed to get Coldplay tickets when they were on sale on resale sites even before the official sales had ended) and Facebook groups, which DD said she's bought from before but there are a lot of dodgy profiles on there, it seems a minefield.

Any advice? I haven't bought resale concert tickets since before eBay stopped selling them! Thanks.

Itison have tickets available for Wembley in case anyone is still looking. £79 instead of £122. Quite surprised they're on there tbh!

@SierraSapphire If you don't mind saying, how much did the resale tickets cost?

SierraSapphire · 04/06/2023 14:28

The rear standing ones were about £100, as it’s through Ticketmaster they are face price with possibly an admin fee. I thought Ticketmaster would send me an alert when they had some resale tickets, but it looks like they only alert for new sales, so I had to keep going into the app to check. I noticed I had a couple of rear standing ones and some high up seated ones yesterday as well that were a bit cheaper @Squigg - are you hoping to go too?

I’d swap my Harry tickets for the 1975 at the drop of a hat 😂 my girls might not be so thrilled though.
another vote for Twickets - I’ve not been let down by viagogo either over the years but I do find it quite stressful wondering if I’ll get in or not so would opt for twickets whenever possible.

Twickets.
There's loads on there.
I constantly buy and sell through there as I go to a lot of gigs.
Youre as protected as you can be.
Honestly, don't touch anything else for resale..

Ticketmaster has resale tickets - you may need to click to get them to be shown.

Oh yes, Ticketmaster is fine too.
I've just sold my Pet Shop Boys ticket through them.

SierraSapphire · 09/06/2023 08:16

Yeah I’d like to see The 1975 too skilikeagirl though I don’t suppose DD would be very happy with me crashing Parklife with her and her friends…!

Reporting back! We had a great night, DD and I went in our feather boas, and danced all night! Feet hurt now but I’m sitting by the canal in London in the sun with a coffee so all is well. Want to go again now, but we do have a couple of other gigs planned over the next couple of months (after four years of one disaster after another and not going anywhere so it really feels like I’m getting my life back!) Also got fireworks, which I loved!
