Does anyone use the CSSC discount scheme?

I've started working at a local authority and have heard about the CSSC scheme for £5 per month and figuring out whether it's worth it.

Does anyone else already use it? I can't find a good list of the more 'everyday' places it's valid at, like supermarkets etc.

I have it. I’ll be honest I rarely use the shopping discounts as they’re not huge and a bit of a faff to sort out (usually involve buying a gift card for cheap rather than just waving your card and getting 5% off in the shop iyswim) BUT you get family English heritage membership as part of it which is well worth the £5 on its own if you live near a few sites. I also use the discounted cinema tickets as a few pounds per person really adds up when you’re going as a family.

The website/system is also rubbishly designed, it has to be said. I should really look at the rest of the available deals but it’s not at all intuitive to search through

I get a discount off my gym membership and it's brilliant for free / discounted tickets to local attractions. The discounts on cinema tickets and supermarkets are similar to other "top cashback" schemes.

Yes I think its good value for money.

I have several reloadable cash back cards for shops I use regularly eg Sainsburys, Tesco, M&S. I put money on them every month and use the card for my normal shopping.
I have a Halfords one for my son’s bike stuff - saved nearly £100 on a new bike for him. I load a Greggs one for him so he can get lunches when he’s out.
I use it if I want to buy gift cards etc for presents.
I save the cash back for Christmas.
I saved a small fortune on one holiday in Wales with free entry to castles. Last year I had two ‘free’ days out on the Isle of Wight as I didnt need to pay for Osbourne House or Carisbrooke Castle.
If you use it properly it can save you money and earn you cashback, I usually have around £150 to claim in December - not megabucks but comes in handy

We only really use it for English Heritage. Also valid at Cadw sites in Wales. Like pp we saved a fortune on a recent holiday in Wales visiting so many castles.

I use it and another rewards platform I'm on to book cheaper hotels, when buying electronics etc. I really should sort out some reloadable cards for my regular shops too as at the moment I don't get the best out of it. However, I am potentially eligible for some of their sport funding as I compete at a national level in a disability sport, so the cost of keeping my membership will pay dividends if I access that funding.

No as the supermarket discounts were much to much of a faff to use, especially if you go on to several different ones in a week.

The other offers I wasn't interested in or couldn't afford to do, even if they were near me in the first place.
