Please just give a yes or no. My ex hasn’t paid me maintenance, he says he hasn’t been paid today (payday is 28th). Last time he did this he didn’t send me the maintenance that month. He says he won’t be getting it until Tuesday.

He works for a massive, well known international company if that makes a difference.

thanks

Yes. It's actually stated in our contract we'll be paid early in event of 28th falling on weekend/bank holidays. Probably not the same for everywhere though.

If he earns 80k and works for a large organisation (not himself where he can hide his income) , how is his CMS only £100?

There's no standard answer, and I know businesses where the answer isn't even consistent from one bank holiday to the next - it depended where the end of the month fell in relation to the bank holiday, if the last day of the month was the bank holiday Monday you got paid on the Friday so that you were paid before the end of the month otherwise it was the Tuesday.

Why have CMS said they can't do anything? It sounds like he's employed and owes you FAR more than £100 a month, just go via them.

My daughters ex always did this to my daughter.he gets paid 28th so it will go in Friday.y daughter got so sick of she contacted CSA and although it do weeks she is finally going to revive her child maintenance each month plus some of the arrears.they are taking it from his wages so you ought to do this if he keeps not paying you.good luck

I'm thinking this thread is probably resolved now as it's dated MAY 23
