practice.
a really really sharp bread knife.
& leave bread to properly cool.

GladysHeeler · 25/05/2023 19:28

Practice. And a decent knife.

You can get gadgets from places like Lakeland.

You probably need a sharper bread knife. We got a nice but not over expensive one from ikea and now I can finally cut proper size slices of bread.

Decent knife, steady hand. Or just enjoy the doorstops. I do

Flip the bread on its side. It is less likely to break.

yes.

but also using a couple (or 3-4) dough balls in the bread tin instead of a single piece of dough makes the bread more stable and easier to cut.

Let it cool completely and turn it upside down.
