25th May 1973. Makes me feel a million years old! What with that and Dark Side of the Moon having turned 50 earlier this year, Pet Shop Boys' first single released 40 years ago this week - all of which I remember, from soon after if not release dates. Officially old!
The PSB themed evening on BBC2 last night was great. Only seen the first two programmes so far, but fully intend to catch up on the others later this week. If anyone ever pops up on MN to say that either Neil Tennant or Chris Lowe is horrible IRL, I may cry.
