silk hair scrunches or bamboo socks

Paddingtonsmarmlade · 20/05/2023 22:39

Some lovely wool and then I’d crochet myself a nice infinity scarf

CatherinedeBourgh · 20/05/2023 22:39

Maybe something second hand but gorgeous that I would use every day:
Damask table napkins
Silver cutlery
Milk jug
Butter dish
Vase
Water jug
Dish or box for jewellry
A couple of lovely mugs

Theatre or concert ticket
Scarf in colour that lights up your face
Book of poetry or favourite childhood story
A really nice pillow /case

I bet you buy fab presents!

Tapsaffweather · 20/05/2023 22:58

An embroidery kit from Paraffle

snoozingbaby1476 · 20/05/2023 23:34

Jo Malone bath oil. I think a small bottle is about £20. Then a book & bottle of wine.

tatteddear · 21/05/2023 07:43

Candle or a houseplant.

Enko · 21/05/2023 07:45

Lime and Bay body wash from the white company

Robotik · 21/05/2023 07:46

M and s Do some really lovely perfumes for £5, I’d get one of those, and a new book, and a meal from m and s or Waitrose.

Nomorecoconutboosts · 21/05/2023 07:47

L’Occitane lavender shower gel. £15 ish - maybe something else from there too

A slice of cake from local baker (£3.50)

or browse Boots for lipgloss/skin or hair care.

2 small bunches of gerberas and some greenery from local florist £7 (yesterday’s price)

Nomorecoconutboosts · 21/05/2023 07:49

@Silvergoldandglitter
It’s interesting that prices vary so much - I imagine it depends on location.
we are fortunate enough (Midlands) to have local florist and even a nice arrangement of flowers in a box is only £15.

CrispsnDips · 21/05/2023 07:51

Been eyeing up some khaki pedal pushers …I would have £5 change so a nice strawberry tart with clotted cream ..

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 21/05/2023 07:51

hanging picture frames from Oliver Bonas

a cabbage leaf bowl from Arket

a Chanel lipstick (a bit over budget)

a big bunch of flowers

Ladybird books from the charity shop

fabric for sewing

Neals Yard bubble bath

Vitriolinsanity · 21/05/2023 11:29

I'd add an extra fiver and buy the olive tree I saw at Morrison's yesterday

TheStartofSomethingBeautiful · 21/05/2023 17:34
