Very kind family clubbed together and got me this for my birthday.
I'm eyeing it up in the box
it looks like something from outer space!!
my current slow cooker is nearly 30 years old
help!! Where do I start!!
Any tips for websites/Facebook pages/cookbooks hugely appreciated
I'm a pretty confident if basic cook but very much a creature of habit so want to get a good idea of how to try new things and get the most out of my new shiny toy 😂

Bumping this for you OP.
I've had a 15 in 1 Ninja for well over 6 months, I love it but I don't really know how to use it to it's full potential at all. In fact, I'm quite useless with it.
I'd love a classic Mary Berry cook book translated into Ninja!
Google only comes up with American recipes or sloppy desert recipes so I am a bit lost really.
Apparently you can cook most thing with this appliance but I'm not very adventurous, I can't figure out how to convert an oven recipe to a multi cooker and I've never used a slow cooker so I don't know how that's supposed to work either.
MN was a huge help to me when I used my Ninja for pressure cooking (never used pressure cooking before either) as I needed a quick answer.

than you
bump appreciated!! 😂
Hoping to try it later today for some nice crispy veg to go with chicken done on the barbecue
it's still in the box currently 😂😂
Definitely want to use the pressure cook function if I can get over my childhood fears of pressure cookers ! The one my mother had scared the bejesus out of me😂

😂😂😂 I was terrified first time I used the pressure cooking function!!!!
It was absolutely fine and I used it a few times since, although I can never get it exactly right. Fir ex. Beef Bourguignon comes out a bit too watery no matter how I tweak the recipe as in make a thicker sauce to start with.

And I kept mine in the box for about a week too: admiring, wondering, dreaming and so on.

I like mine but no idea what I'm doing if I'm honest. I could get a lot more out of it.

Enjoy the vegetables!

PS have a look on the Food board, there is a lot of good advice and mention of some Facebook resource.
I often look at thesaltedpepper.com website but it's still not what I'm after. Very useful though.

I've joined lots of ninja foodi Facebook groups. I can usually find a recipe I want on one of them.
I love the pressure cooker. I can finish work and have a casserole/stew cooked in no time at all. And a whole Roast chicken done on steam roast in less than an hour.
I'm terrible at planning ahead what to cook so I'm never organised enough to sort for slow cooker in the morning.
Mine was really useful at Christmas too. Did roast potatoes and pigs in blankets in it.

The ninja book by David Small is good as it's for UK

Well it's out of the box
going to play with it with some air fryed veg to go with a barbecued chicken
will wander over to the food section and also look on Facebook
have to admit I'm wishing I'd bought something simpler at the moment
