So I currently have my eye on a lovely lamp from dunelm.Saw it in Pinterest and fell in love with it. Would match perfectly with my living room.
Do I technically need it? Of course not but I want it Grin

I have some jo malone soap and lotion and really wanted the matching perfume. My toddler drove me crazy yesterday so decided to get it to cheer myself up 🤣

A summer skirt from Toast. Expensive so currently mulling it over.

I'm mulling over a pair of shorts of their's. £100!

Trying to decide if I'm too old for some lovely dungarees I've seen and whether I should get my nose repierced. Also on the lookout out for an antique tea table I can use to WFH.

Re the nose piercing - I'm desperate to have mine pierced ( have been for about 2 years but I'm a wuss ) is it painful? Any tips?

musixa · 20/05/2023 07:25

Replacement mobile phone (old one 5 years old and knackered). Keep putting it off as really don't want to spend the money, and it's much more fun comparing pros and cons of different phones than actually buying one.

RedRobin100 · 20/05/2023 07:26

Birkenstocks,
a sofa,
a flowerpot lamp,
naked and thriving or Sunday Riley face oil
skims to try

MinnieMountain · 20/05/2023 07:27

A print by an artist I like. I probably will buy it once we’re back from holiday.

Eileen101 · 20/05/2023 07:32

Some new work clothes - I've gone from WFH permanently to office based in a new job but I've gone up a size after having 2 children 🙈 and I feel like sausages in my old ones. I've cobbled a few bits together from vinted to look smartish, but would love to get some proper suits from next.
Also need some shoes, mine have holes in the back 🫣

A bigger PE hoodie for my eldest. We have been given one but it's quite small and not going to last long without looking a bit daft 😕

What am I most likely to buy? Car repairs 😱 I have an old car and an oil leak.

Roll on the start of next term when my youngest child's funded nursery hours apply 🙌

Eileen101 · 20/05/2023 07:35

Oh and roofing felt for my leaking flat roof.

Does anyone have the lottery numbers please? 😂😂

Beaverbridge · 20/05/2023 07:36

New mattress, just back from a hotel stay, no sore back. Back home, back in agony again.

New hall carpet.
Looking at replacement cupboard doors for kitchen.
I take forever to decide.

snoozingbaby1476 · 20/05/2023 07:49

Do the nose piercings! I haven't got my nose done by I think the small nose studs look lovely. I've got lots of ear piercings and I always think if you don't like them you can just take them out. Don't overthink it.

Try Coach - I have a camera bag and it's lovely and spacious.
Also - Oliver Bonas have gorgeous ones with a cheaper price tag, that are just as spacious.

Thanks, I'll have a look 😀

DinosApple · 20/05/2023 08:04

An iPad, a new TV, an antique wardrobe, a IKEA pax wardrobe, a pair of wide leg trousers, two sofas and an armchair - quality second hand would be fine, a Victorian/Edwardian desk chair, some garden furniture and a new conservatory.

All but the wide leg trousers are on the save up for list!

DinosApple · 20/05/2023 08:06

Oh yes, and some fabric dye and an ammonite lamp.

HinnyInAPinny · 20/05/2023 08:10

A new dining table and chairs and some new blinds for the conservatory.
Neither are needed so much as wanted, so I'm trying to justify the cost in my head.

Dotdotdot19 · 20/05/2023 08:15

A new sofa, curtains and paint for the lounge
A food processor/kitchen aid
A Denby crockery set complete with tea cups and pot
An eternity ring.

In reality I'm most likely to buy a new kitchen bin and toilet brush. I might ask for the food processor for our anniversary but I don't hold out much hope of it being a kitchen aid.....

HaudYerWheeshtYaWeeBellend · 20/05/2023 08:17

Ds2 needs a chest of drawers for his newly decorated bedroom, I have my heart set on some rustic oak drawers (pic) however Dh is trying to find cheaper alternatives…

A camper van… Me and dh at logger heads over this … he wants to spend £££££ on and I want to spend ££££.

Patio set for our garden (pic) dh again is trying to find cheaper alternatives…

New carpets but they are a necessity.

Norwegian fjords cruise for next year, expensive and definitely not a necessity but I think we will do it.

Raindancer411 · 20/05/2023 08:20

Portable veg cages 😂

An oodie sleep tee - not sure if it's worth the money!

It is ! They feel cool and waft around you, great for summer.

caringcarer · 20/05/2023 08:34

@Goodfuckingriddance I got mine from my GP as BMI was 60 and thyroid issues, but most people get it privately.

There is a thread I started ozempic last night you should read and it has some discount codes on.

L1ttledrummergirl · 20/05/2023 08:50

A plan to visit one of the modern wonders of the world.

DustyLee123 · 20/05/2023 08:52

I’ve treated myself to a big fan as I can’t stand the summer heat. I hate not being able to sleep, especially when I’ve got to go to work, and I hate the fact that the dog is too hot at night.

Undercoverunicorn · 20/05/2023 09:18

I'm eyeing up some maternity dresses as I'm already the size of a whale (thanks dd1 and ivf hormones), but not going to buy until 12 week scan is done. And I really should sort through what I have stored in the loft from last time, but from memory it's more wintery.

Also planning in my head various bits we will need to do to move dd1 rooms and where the home office is going to go, which will no doubt spiral!

More pressing is a new car windscreen as ours has cracked, and turns out dh didn't read the small print carefully enough when taking out the car insurance and its not covered. Lesson learned.

Oh, and I'd like some new perfume. But want to test some out but not had chance. Will ask for some for bday I think- any recommendations?

Passthecoffee · 20/05/2023 09:30

I've been eyeing up coverless duvets - does anyone have one? Would love to know if they're worth it and look ok when on the bed

CaramelicedLatte · 20/05/2023 09:35

A babylis big hair - or similar. Really struggling with my hair at the moment and straighteners aren’t doing anything at all!
