Charity workers…Cf

Today when we were leaving Aldi, there were 2 charity workers set up in the exit foyer, so basically you had no chance of avoiding them even if you wanted to. He asked me if I was interested, I replied not today thanks mate, he then proceeded to say to his fellow worker about how rude people are for not donating to charity..
he really pissed me off..

  1. I wasn’t rude to him, I didn’t ignore to him, i thought I was quite polite to him actually..
  2. i actually donate to 6 charity’s throughout the year… which I think is more than enough..
  3. we are in a cost of living crisis, people can just about afford to buy food let alone donate money, the last thing they need is getting made to feel guilty because they can’t donate to charity.

im a bit pissed off with Aldi for letting them do it in a location where people get bombarded the minute they leave as opposed to outside the shop.
it’s bad enough when I leave work. On my 2 minute walk to the bus stop I’m faced with several spread up the street.

Contact the charity, stating what happened they should be able to find out who the person is.
Speak to the manager the store probably won't do a lot, but If everyone who thought the same as you spoke with the manager they would be less likely to "host" charity collection people (usually be paid to be there or working for another company who gives x amount to the charity)
I hate being pounced on by charity collection folk in shop doorways, it makes me never donate to that charity.
This is just my opinion on this x

Yeah that's not OK, it's harassment.
