11 - in a 'house' that formed part of a hall of residence at Uni, we had a shared kitchen, bathroom and lounge. Weirdly I completely tuned out the noise of others and never had any problem sleeping - even when housemates were up late. (Whereas now the sound of a light switch 3 streets away is enough to wake me up at night. 😂)
