I never, ever feel well, or not exhausted. What 1 thing would you suggest that has improved your wellbeing?

I'm in a vicious circle of feeling ill, run down and tired and as a result not looking after myself properly, exercising or eating well. Which can only make me feel worse.

I'm so fed up with constant tiredness and illness.

I do suffer with anaemia and hypothyroidism which doesn't help, along with high BP. I am overweight. Im 45. I have 2 small children who bring ALL the germs home.

I am determined to turn things around. I am upping my water intake, adding in a small fruit and veg smoothie, a multivitamin of some sort.

What else? I need an easy meal plan (happy to eat the same thing a lot!) Especially for breakfast and lunch.

If you've started doing, taking, eating, drinking something that you feel has been beneficial, please share!

Me too for Miracle Morning

Bemyclementine · 19/05/2023 10:46

@JMAngel1 what time do you get up? I do want to start getting up earlier, I think half an hour before the dc gets up makes all the difference. I'm so tired though I'm really struggling. I'm not sure if it'll be counter productive.

I slept with the curtains open last night abd still struggled to get out of bed before 7.15

@Bemyclementine I really want to do this too, I’m being woken up by the kids and this tends to make me grumpy whereas when (on the rare occasion) I get up before them I feel so much better. They get up at 6am sometimes though and the thought of being up before that is a bit 😳 but I think this is part of the problem, need to change my mindset.
I’m interested to hear how @JMAngel1 started and sticks with the Morning Miracle. Any tips will be gratefully received, thank you x

Oh gif you don’t want to know -5am 😱

Bemyclementine · 19/05/2023 12:53

@Youmeandacupoftea I've read up a bit, it's seems the first 10 days are horrid, the 2nd 10 days are uncomfortable, and the 3rd 10 days are easier.

I'm.nlt sure I'd want to do it on weekends though!

Yeah I imagine it would be a bit of a shock to the system at first but I’m interested in hearing from those who’ve done it/do it as to how you keep going through those horrible few weeks and how you don’t give up. Just getting on and doing it I suppose!

Exercise daily. Sounds like it would make you more tired, but honestly I feel more tired on the days I don't workout!
Even if it's just a walk, or 15 mins abs, I do something (although it's usually a strenuous workout)

I find it almost impossible to get up between 5am and 8am, outside those times is fine so it might not be as hard as you think if you can find your sweet spot. I used to bounce out of bed at 4.30am, throw some clothes on, clean my teeth, grab a cereal bar and a bottle of water and be in work for 5am (finished at 9am). Even in winter scraping ice off the car I was fine. If I'd had to get up at 6am to do the same I'd have dragged around taking 2hrs to get ready and hating being awake.

I've had too much time off sick so am being "monitored" at work, they expect me to not be ill for 6 months. Again, I'd bloody love to not be ill. I'm not sure what would happen if I was.

Oh no ☹️ unfortunately this is the start of disciplinary procedures that would see you getting a P45 and deemed by the employer to be medically unfit to do the job.
