If you work 60% (25.2hrs) what does your week look like?

How do you plan your working hours? 3 days or spread over 4-5?
How do you cope with getting the DC up and out (especially if one is a candidate for school refusal)?
What sort of things do you take for lunch and what do your DC take for lunch or do during the holidays?
Particularly interested to hear from parents with DC with ASD whose young teenagers can't really be left alone for any great length of time.

9:30 to 2:30 5 days a week so I can’t get the tricky one into school and be home when he gets back.
lunch for me and DD is from dinner the night before so just make extra portions of everything
work in a school so term time only so the holidays bit isn’t an jssue

4 days a week. Much less stressful than trying to cram it into 3 longer days

I used to do this and I just worked school hours 5 days a week. 9.30-2.30.

I've recently stepped up to 29.5hrs after a long time doing 25.2.

I did this over four days - one short one finishing at lunch time, then 3x 9.15 - 5ish. Meant I could always do the AM school run, which sounds like it might be helpful for you if mornings are tricky. Usually it's better for colleagues/customers compared to compressed hours as well.

I work 24 hours over 2 days. Sat and Sun 6am-6pm.
That way I'm free Mon-Fri to care for my primary school child and my college age child with additional needs, Medical issues and lots of hospital appointments.

I do 3 days a week but my work is very flexible if I need to change working days to accommodate DS medical appointments.

In the summer I’m planning to switch to 4 shorter days to tie in better with holiday club hours.

I work 9-5 three days per week. Work from home so take kids to school, home, log on, take lunch break at 3pm for school run and rely on the DC entertaining themselves while I work 4-5pm. Often think about rejigging hours to within school day, but then I wouldn't get two full days off to get stuff done, and also would be more complicated in the holidays.

These are my hours. I have a very flexible job. I do have some set hours, which are all evening meetings. My husband is home for those. The rest of my work I can do at home or in the office and I can spread how I like. So sometimes I do saturday and sunday morning as its better.
My son has asd and school refusal so my focus is on getting him to school each day and then I go to work. But i often have to pick him up or take him to appointments.

My dh works from home so is there when the taxi drops him home.

I won't be able to rely on DH to cover anything (rather, he will try to make it as awkward as possible for me based on previous attempt to work) so will need the DC to take a bit more on themselves. MIL would cover one day in the holidays and DH should wfh one day although I can totally see him deciding last minute he'll just have to go into the office today. It would only be 15 mins away so the DC would have to manage...
