Last day of pregnancy... what do I do?!

I'm being induced tomorrow at 40+3 due to a trend of slightly reduced foetal movement. Not thrilled about it tbh but as Doctor has advised that this would be the safer option I'm not about to argue!
We could get called in any time tomorrow, so we've made plans for my DSS to be with his mum from 9am... and then we'll wait!

What would you do, knowing it's your last day of pregnancy?
My current plans include double checking the bags and getting DH to put them in the car, giving the car a hoover and clean, a last run to Aldi for snacks, and hoovering our bedroom.

There must be something more exciting I'm missing 😂

(Also if anyone has any positive induction stories they'd like to share, my ears are wide open!)

Make sure you have food in, everything packed. Have a bath and go to bed early and have a good night's sleep.

I would definitely not be hoovering!

I'd take myself for a lot of grooming so I don't have to bother for ages- eyebrows threaded, gel nails. I'd have the longest most luxurious bath too.

And I'd take my kindle to a restaurant, order yummy food and have a solo lunch.

Good luck! Wishing you all the best.

My induction at 40 + 1 was fab: pessary in and 12 hours later baby came out.

Literally this except I was 37+4. Pessary in, waters went spontaneously, DD1 was born 12 hrs later.

I definitely agree with having a lovely lunch with a good book, maybe a nice afternoon nap. Enjoy!
