Snacks for sugar junkie DD during her GCSEs

DD currently on study leave for GCSEs. I am noticing all the sugar disappearing from the cupboards. I have stocked the cupboards and fridge with lots of food, cheese, bread, lots of fruit, nuts, instant noodles, rice cakes, crackers, pickles, etc, and there's also plenty of stuff to prepare decent meals, although I fully appreciate she's not going to want to waste time cooking and I am happy to cook for her.

Problem is, she craves sugar, always has done, and now under stress, even more. Today I have noticed empty packets of sugar in the cupboards. No one at home uses sugar, we only keep it for visitors. She's literally been eating sugar.

Beyond hiding the sugar, I am not sure how to address this. She's not a slim girl. Don't get me wrong, she is not overweight, but objectively, she could do with losing 4 or 5 Kg as she is only 5.3". She leads a very sedentary life, this has always been an issue, and now she's 16, I feel almost powerless to influence it.

She is not someone who will find it easy to just shift the extra weight once exams are over, not to mention the damage to her teeth, and the fact that refined sugar is not that good for you anyway.

How does everyone else balance this? We've never been draconian with treats, and I am fully aware she can go out with her mates and eat what she wants. How do I address this?

Also, are there any go-to instant foods that I could buy and always have readily available for when teens are starving and I am not around?

Does she like dried fruit? Dates, dried strawberries, apricots etc will all give that sugar hit.
Also bananas.
If she eats nuts then those raw type bars (nakd, etc) can be quite sweet.
Homemade cakes also will be sugary without all the added preservatives.

Is she taking enough breaks? Sugar cravings can be linked to tiredness/stress.
