Clothes pegs

I've wasted money on two different packs of clothes pegs having recently got an outdoor line (been using clothes horses for years) None of them seem to grip the clothes properly so things end up sliding up and down the line. Is it the pegs? If so please recommend good ones! Or is it the way I hang the clothes?! And if so, tell me what I'm doing wrong!

Minky all the way! Everything stays put!

Minky for me.

All other brands of pegs have snapped over time, due to being left out on the line i presume, but the Minky's are still going strong.

We only ever use wooden ones, they grip well and last forever. Prefer to use less plastic too.

Wiggly pegs are what you want. They don't have springs so they can't rust and break apart.

Thank you all, I will go shopping again at the weekend!

The Lakeland soft grip ones are brilliant.

I had the same problem and looked at options that were more eco-friendly / not plastic. Ended up buying these - they're doing very well so far

I don't like my Minky or IKEA pegs. (IKEA Soctopus is good though).
Going back to wooden pegs again.

The only pegs that keep stuff from sliding along the line are dolly pegs. I buy plastic ones off Amaxon. Push them on firmly and the clothes are going nowhere.

Pincinox stupidly expensive French pegs

They work out at about £1 each, but they don't bend, snap, rust or mark clothes and mine still look brand new after about 5 years.
