Are there any success stories of pregnancy by TTC naturally with stage 4 endometriosis? Looking for some hope 🙏🏻

We were eligible for one funded round of NHS. We ended up with two embryos but they didn’t implant. We can’t afford any more IVF so TTC naturally is our only option. Is there any hope?

Yes, I got pregnant naturally after a stage 4 diagnosis. I did have some surgery to remove then conceived afterwards.
Have you been told it may be difficult to conceive naturally because of the endo?

Well, we haven’t been able to conceive naturally hence the IVF, which then didn’t work. I’ve now got to decide whether to continue TTC or to have surgery. If I have surgery I need to spend 12 months having a drug first which will shut my ovaries down. I don’t know which path to choose and my age is not on my side.

I had stage 3 and conceived within 4 months after having surgery to remove it after years of trying.

This would be amazing! Did you have age on your side as well?

@Lennia I had to have that drug aswell.
It’s such a horrid disease.
I had no doubt in my mind I wanted surgery, but obviously it came with its risks.
Do you have a consultant that can advise you on the next steps?

Yes I have three kids despite very severe stage 4 endo in pelvis and outside pelvis eg bowel / bladder (also pcos and adenomyosis) - had years of infertility and miscarriages along the way tho - infertility (clomid) treatment failed. I didn’t find out I had endo until my third kid was 2 and now have had two surgeries to remove it. I also have pots/Mcas/likely hypermobility. One thing I realised later was I feel ill at ovulation which obviously is not ideal but think that definitely didn’t help and probably made it take longer. Best of luck.

I was 37 so not really! Surgery is sore but definitely worth a shot

Yes, he’s pretty much said the decision is mine! Very helpful haha.

Sharing my story in case it helps.. only just got my BFP today after 11 months trying. Diagnosed with endometrioma on ovary (stage 4 endo) two months ago, was working with fertility clinic to see my options. What I did this month which May of helped: did a HyCoSy on CD9, took estrogen and progesterone supplements during luteal phase, and for the past two months added two new supplements to my vitamin regime: R Alpha Lipoic Acid and N Acetyl Crystine

Rosie250 · 10/06/2023 20:35

Oh and also I decided to adopt an almost completely gluten and dairy free diet this month also

Me! I had a c section and they "scraped away" the worst bits while I was "open"
