Where to get Decent Period Pants - Not ModiBodi or WUKA

BrokeAssLookingBitch · 07/05/2023 12:27

Where do you get your period pants from thats not ModiBodi or WUKA, please? Ideally I'd like boxers-style ones.

I'm happy to pay a decent amount for good quality ones so no worries about budget.

My friend said her Primark ones went all baggy and tatty after a few washes so I'm avoiding Primark ones too.

I'm not a fan of M&S so would rather not give them my money either 🤣

Thank you!!

I can wholeheartedly recomment these ones from Argos. I have very heavy periods and they have handled them without any issues at all. They wash and dry well too.

DD has a couple from Uniqlo, she likes them.

Oh, that's interesting, thanks. I never would've thought of Argos!

Cheeky wipes are pretty good and a good price. They do various styles. I have the full brief style ones and the absorption goes all the way front to back so I feel really secure.

TeenLifeMum · 07/05/2023 13:26

We use cheeky wipes and have been impressed.

Decafflatteplease · 07/05/2023 13:27

Correction...I dont have the high waisted ones I have the "feeling fearless full brief"

Gatekeeper · 07/05/2023 13:27

Do they not smell after wearing them all day?

scoobydoo1971 · 07/05/2023 13:53

I have tried lots of different types with my daughter. She just started periods, has autism so sensory issues, and also allergic to latex so elasticated pants can be itchy. Tried loads, some shrink in the wash or fall apart easily. For her, M&S pants are ideal and very leak proof, even at night.

Bluebells1970 · 07/05/2023 13:55

I hate to say that the only ones that I get on with are the M & S ones.... they are super absorbent and wash very well.

HoppingPavlova · 07/05/2023 13:59

My DD has used Rubylove period undies and swimwear for years and loves them.

bobby81 · 07/05/2023 14:03

Another vote for M&S here (I know that's not what you want to hear!) I've tried several brands & they were the best.

FrenchFancie · 07/05/2023 14:15

Tried a pair from tescos and was unimpressed. Have cheeky wipes ones and like them, have been eying up some ones from Next as well…

greenacrylicpaint · 07/05/2023 14:17

the uniqlo ones are very good.

not boxer shape though.

30not13 · 07/05/2023 14:19

I have got some from Flowette, but use them for bladder leaks. Can't fault them. I have the heavy flow ones which are a bit granny ish admittedly but they do other styles including boxer

BrokeAssLookingBitch · 07/05/2023 15:03

Oh these are all such brilliant suggestions, thank you. I hadn't come across Cheeky Wipes before.

I'm not 100% opposed to M&S ones if the consensus is that they're the best. UNIQLO is a great shout!

@Gatekeeper Not at all. I mean they don't smell any worse that a one-use sanitary towel (especially those awful perfumed pad).
After each day, Just give them a rinse, put them through a 40C wash, maybe with a bit of eucalyptus oil if you're worried about whiff, and allow to dry thoroughly. No lingering smell at all.

Also off to look at Flowette 🙂

I have cheeky wipe ones that are good

Smartiepants79 · 07/05/2023 15:08

Uniqlo are very good but expensive. M&S good and cheaper. We’ve got on ok with primark also

ButtonMoonLoon · 07/05/2023 15:11

We like the Cheeky Wipes ones too, and there usually seems to be some sort of offer on.

chipsandpeas · 07/05/2023 15:18

ive got the primark ones had them a while and they are still in good condition, not went baggy or anything

CamdenLurker · 07/05/2023 15:29

Another vote for Uniqlo, £20 a pair and worth every penny. I also have some from cheeky wipes and they are nowhere near as good as the airism Uniqlo pants.

Thank you, this is exactly what I need to know. I have a daughter with similar issues. She hasn't started her periods yet, but I think she is going to find it very difficult given her poor body awareness and sensory issues - M&S it is!

Fantina · 07/05/2023 15:35

Just to throw a spanner in the works but DD leaks through M&S ones but has got on well with Cheeky Wipes.

bunchofforgetmenots · 07/05/2023 15:36

We have tried cheeky, wuka and M&S. My vote isfor cheekywipes ones - the absorbant bit is much longer than M&S, and they are cheaper than wuka.
