Alcohol free gin

I know this has been done to death, but a quick search in mumsnet hasn't really produced the result I'm looking for.

Can anyone recommend an alcohol free gin that tastes better than the abomination that is Gordon's Alcohol Free gin please?

I particularly like the juniper taste of gin, but Gordon's just tastes of artificial lemon flavouring. I don't think it has been near a juniper berry.

Thank you in advance.

TBH I quite like alcohol free beer, especially with a curry. I'm not really a beer drinker so maybe that's why I find it quite palatable.

I really like Seedlip Spice. I have it with Fevertree Mediterranean tonic with fancy garnishes quite regularly.

I've found that just drinking decent tonic on its own is better than attempting to replicate alcohol free GnT. I'm now a big fan of a glass of tonic!

We really like the Clean Co gin and also the Smidgin from Adnams.

I now want to try the Tanqueray one.

Needmoresunshine · 02/05/2023 23:50

Another vote for Tanquery

Clearly I need to learn to spell... Tanquerary

Lavender1974 · 03/05/2023 00:00

I also recommend the Tanqueray.

Seedlip is fantastic 3 types depending on your taste x

I have tried one of the Seedlip drinks and was really unimpressed. I wish these alcohol free gins were available as miniatures so that I could try them all without spending £££.

Another vote for drinking a nice tonic (like Fever Tree or Luccombe) on its own with ice and a slice, in a nice gin glass.

IMO It doesn't taste much different to a single g&t with a whole bottle of tonic, and works out much cheaper than the expensive alcohol-free gins

Orangeradiorabbit · 03/05/2023 08:05

*Luscombe

I often drink tonic on it's own, and it's only ever Fevertree.

Another vote for tanqueray absolutely delicious.

Tip - mix with apple juice, fever tree tonic and raspberry syrup for a gorgeous & refreshing mocktail

Oooohhh shall try this!

I also drink this 0% gin on school nights

I bought some 0% alcohol Tanqueray the other day and did a blind tatsing with the 0% Gordons. It is very marginally nicer, but still lacks the juniper taste. It will do for now.
