Decent set of pots and pans?

Can anyone recommend a decent set? Don’t mind paying for something that will last.

Ours have seen better days and could do with replacing. Must be suitable for an induction hob!

Le Creuset (posh I know) 🤣 but completely fab.. full set on eBay including frying pan, 4 saucepans and 2 casseroles for £80

Just like clothes - go for quality .. will last a life time . also have a channel 'capsule wardrobe for work' £120 for 7 different combos I have worn for three years and still get comments .. (£120)

Mine are from John Lewis - I’ve got this set, the steamer that sits on top of them, a smaller saucepan and the frying pan from the classic range and the wok from the thermacore range. All excellent and work well on my induction hob.

I also have the JL Classic set, which was a 21st birthday present (I'm now 46!) They've been used very heavily on a gas hob for 25 years, and we moved last year to a house with an induction hob, where they work perfectly. They're very robust and easy to clean, and anything burnt on can be scrubbed off with wire wool! I'm so happy with them that I bought a lidded frying pan about 10 years ago and the Thermacore stock pot last year (weirdly, my 20-year old JL stockpot didn't work on an induction hob, despite being apparently made from the same stuff as the Classic saucepans Confused).

DH upgraded ours to solidteknics noni pans a few years ago. Eye wateringly expensive but good, some came from the US, some from Australia.

We don't have Teflon anything now as he doesn't want us poisoned and chucked all the Circulon pans which I liked.

Another fan of Ikea - stainless steel, good for induction hob, very solid. Good range of saucepans and frying pans

Le Creuset had them years. Faultless really. You can cook on hob with them and transfer into oven too for casserole etc amazing quality

Another vote for Le Creuset stainless steel. We have the full set along with soup pot type thing, purchased during a Debenhams sale about 15 years ago. Still going very strong. Only issue was the non stick stuff came off the frying pan, but Le Creuset replaced it without any quibbles. Pricey but brilliant.

Thank you all for your recommendations 😊 I’ll have a good look through them all tonight! I’m a big fan of LC cast iron but wasn’t sure how their saucepans would compare so nice to see lots of love for them! DH might lose his mind if he sees that kind of spend right enough 😂

We have some JL vouchers still sitting from Christmas too so I’ll have a look there!
