Food to fit the Coronation theme

I'm doing a British themed get together for the Coronation.
What's a national dish you would recommend. It needs to fit with finger type food/light stuff, most meat eaters but got a pescataraian to cater to.

Thanks

The Coronation quiche recipe looks good, imo.

Otherwise, roast beef sandwiches with mustard or horseradish.

🤦‍♀️ posted too soon, smoked salmon and cream cheeses sandwich for the pescatarian.

Isn't chicken tikka masala a British national dish? You could make a version with either chunky veg such as large pieces of broccoli, cauliflowers and potato or with a meat free "chicken".

It doesn't have to be a big plateful; you could serve it rolled up in small naans with a blob of yoghurt and mango chutney and be eaten like a burrito.

Mini cornish pasties
Salmon & cucumber sandwiches
Scotch eggs

Crumpets! If you got the big square ones you could cut them into quarters so you had little bite sized pieces and grill them in advance. Then just pop them in the oven 10 minutes before serving to warm up. You could either serve with a dish of butter, dish of jam and dish of marmite, or top with a strong cheddar before reheating and serve with a chutney for people to add if they like it.
