What wouldn't you do for someone you love?

"Inspired" by the thread about group holidays, what things would you refuse to do for someone you love? I mean lighthearted every day activities/things not murder or bank robbery.

I wouldn't go camping for anyone. Thankfully I don't need to but unless someone's life literally depended upon it, and even then I'd have to consider how much I really liked them, you're not getting me in a tent ever again. I'd rather go without a holiday for the rest of my life.

Also Eat coleslaw.

Where do you draw the line?

Skiing. I absolutely loathe it and no amount of love in the world can make the idea of strapping two bits of wood to my feet and throwing myself down a mountain sound appealing.

😂😂😂

Eat meat or be expected to prep or cook raw meat.

Tinkerbell2209 · 30/04/2023 21:29

Cut their toenails.

aperolspritzbasicbitch · 30/04/2023 21:33

Go any further than waist height in the sea - because, sharks.

Share a bath.

Anything to do with arseholes - my DP once wanted me to check for piles. Absolutely fucking not.

Have another child

illiterato · 30/04/2023 21:36

Eat a soft boiled egg
go caving or anything that involves enclosed spaces. When I watched the Descent I was more scared by the tunnels than by the things hunting them.
look after a kid under 5

Wavescrashingonthebeach · 30/04/2023 21:38

Ugh the caves I second that! Bf had to turn the descent off as I was screaming haha

@illiterato

Fighterofthenightman1 · 30/04/2023 22:10

Have any more pets once mine have gone

I love animals but I've completely had my fill of the stress and hassle that comes with pets

TheEarlofButties · 30/04/2023 22:10

Ugh yes @Tinkerbell2209 ! Sign me up for a bank holiday weekend of rimming before I’d cut his toenails!

thebear1 · 30/04/2023 22:18

Potholing.
Anything bum related.
Own fish, I've a phobia.

Parky04 · 30/04/2023 22:22

Have a dog/cat. I would willingly divorce.

HelpMeGetThrough · 30/04/2023 22:29

No dogs within 10ft of me, and not in the house, even if I am not here.

Camping, no way. Rooms with beds, toilets and showers were invented for a reason!

Clean someone else's car, you got it in shit order, you sort it out.

JeromeKJerome · 30/04/2023 22:33

I wouldn't eat a boiled egg or jump out of an aeroplane.

Noshowlomo · 30/04/2023 22:36

@TheEarlofButties hahahah that made me laugh

BarelyLiterate · 30/04/2023 22:39

Go vegan.
Vote Tory.
Go to church for any reason other than a wedding or funeral.
Live with a cat ; I’m allergic to them.

Bonelly · 30/04/2023 22:43

Take their speeding points on my licence

Catsmere · 01/05/2023 07:52

There are so many things I wouldn’t do for any human it’d probably be a shorter list to mention things I would do! 😄

I know what you mean. If I don't want to do anything now for someone now, I won't,

IDontWantToBeAPie · 01/05/2023 08:54

Skydiving. Absolutely not.

Cave diving/caving. Nope.

Same. I have quite enough to do (serious stuff, not the lighthearted things OP means) being my mother’s full-time carer. Sort of uses up my “go out of my way for someone” quotient.

Spend time at the allotment
